Sagem Sécurité (SAFRAN Group) has announced its selection by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), in an international call for tenders, to supply, install and maintain 2,000 new generation gaming terminals to support HKJC’s ongoing business, as supplier of a custom-tailored terminal derived from the Sagem S8 family. The Hong Kong Jockey Club carried out a series of demanding tests that spotlighted the qualities of the S8, in particular its innovative design, secure transaction capability and user-friendliness.
Modular and versatile, the S8 terminal matches the environment at sales outlets, and can be used as a stand-alone terminal or with an operator. The terminal’s software will be developed in partnership with the company LotSys*. Sagem Sécurité was able to tailor its product offering to meet the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s requirements.
